I doubt they’ll do that, but it would be interesting.
I like to think that as well, actually. I particularly liked it when both One Piece and Fairy Tail introduced a time skip. ^w^
im gonna go with after MLP:FIM they will make the next show which will be set 10-20 years in the future of this show/universe and focused this time around flurry heart instead of twilight and featuring all the other kids of the MLP:FIM are now older and part of the main cast now. with likely many references and cameos of the cast from the past show (obviously)

Right after she was shown running with Amethyst Star in Sisterhooves Social, or standing between Written Script and Golden Harvest in The Last Round-Up where both adults look at her, and later Written Script is at the train station to see Golden Harvest and Dinky off, who sit together on the train, but imma ignore that because MUH HEADCANONS

It might be like that fountain scene in Angels and Demons where people come together to save that old man. Or it might at least be vaguely like that.
Because your mother. There hasn’t been a point where it’d be fitting to input it into exposition. It could’ve been in E09, but I’d suspect there may have been either time management problems or DHX writers couldn’t get any of their concepts approved by Hasbro’s QC. ^3^
