“Who the devil are you?!” you said to the big creature that had rested her head on your lap. “How’d you get into my house?!”“Explaining won’t help,” she said, “Can Trixie have a fin scratch?”You sighed, rolled your eyes, and complied.

A pinkie clone did escaped
There’s a story on fimfic about a pinkie clone that escaped and became her own person. (_Her Own Pony by Jorofrarie)
Good story, I rather enjoyed it.
Pinkie Pie’s definitely one of my favorites. It’s part of why I felt so bad for the clones. I wanted to see at least one get away (though I cling tenaciously to the idea that the first one somehow did).
I agree with you on Pinkie, she’s not my favorite, but she has her moments. I find she’s at her best in episodes like Pinkie Pride and the aforementioned TMPP.
Also, Three’s a Crowd was the one with Twi, Cadance and Discord, Pinkie only appeared for a few minutes before Discord shooed her away with a balloon.
Eh, I’m not really seeing it tbh.
I mean, they came out of the pond, and then they went back in when Twilight blasted them all away.
Still one of my favorite episodes.
Oh yeah. I wasn’t the only one either. Enough people debated that ending that it earned it’s own tag.
So you didn’t like TMPP because of the last part?
To each their own I guess.
I personally found it to be a very good fun episode with a lot of good slapstick and humor.
I didn’t really think much of the last scene, and it gave me a bunch of laughs honestly :P
I’ve seen some criticisms of that episode but it was never about the part where Twilight magics them all away.
And if you went back and saw, the clones actually go back in the mirror pool, it didn’t look like they were being killed :P
I understand with Princess Spike, though, I guess the mean-spiritedness didn’t really phase me.
Even Boast Busters which is my least favorite I don’t outright hate, I don’t hate any episode tbh.
Princess Spike was just boring and kind of mean-spirited and didn’t have any real payoff at the end, you know? But Too Many Pinkie Pies was just creepy and dark. I know people are like “oh they’re not dead” and “they’re just copies not real ponies” but I was just sitting there like “oh my god they’re just killing them.” Princess Spike was worse, but Too Many Pinkie Pies actually made me feel uncomfortable, like how did nobody during the writing session thingy say “that’s fucked up, maybe we should re-write this part”?
Amending Fences was just 100% fantastic from beginning to end, and Brotherhooves Social I was just so stoked that they finally featured my all-time favorite character and in a good way that I consider it a 10/10.
Edited
Eh, I didn’t find Princess Spike to be all that bad, just… boring.
Also, Too Many Pinkie Pies? Why do you hate that one?
And I’m glad we can agree on Amending Fences, easily my favorite episode.
Brotherooves Social was a good one, too, though I wouldn’t call it my favorite.
It’s actually up the list a ways for me. I’d put Princess Spike and Too Many Pinkie Pies as my two absolute most disliked episodes and… easily Brotherhooves Social (finally they featured my favorite character!) or Amending Fences (Moondancer is a cutie and should have been Twilight’s friendship pupil) as my two favorite episodes.
My thoughts exactly.
That’s why it’s my personal worst episode.
@Firefanatic
Honestly I think Boast Busters is one of those episodes where everyone except for Twilight was being a jerk in their own special way, with a boisterous arrogant showman at one end and a bunch of obnoxious hecklers at the other. I wasn’t too fond of the episode itself at first but when you watch it and Magic Duel together everything comes full circle: every jerky character gets a lump or two, the boys take some whacks for bringing a monster into town, and it ends on a high note. I just love Trixie for how hammy she is and her overall unique design and really vibrant color scheme.
Hey, I never said I liked her attitude in the episode :P
Nor did I like the episode itself.

If I may continue playing devil’s advocate here? Yes, Trixie was performing like a performer should. But she was also so stuck up in her own act that she was using her character outside of performance, which is frankly arrogant and rather sociopathic. In a perfect pony world, Trixie would have dropped character after her performance, and perhaps even thanked the bearers of harmony for giving her publicity. She might have even thanked Twilight for fixing a problem that she indirectly caused. Instead she used a dangerous magical artifact because of some perceived notion that she was humiliated and plotted revenge, endangering an entire village for what one pony did.
Yeah, Boast Busters was not a favorite of mine. Trixie’s good in my book though.
To be fair, Trixie wasn’t doing any intentional harm in that episode, she was just performing like a performer should.
@Badumsquish
I’ll admit, I wasn’t fond of Trixie at first, but I’ve grown to like her a lot and now I consider her one of my favorites.
That’s just because they accepted her challenge and she put them in their places! Rock on, Trixie!
I don’t know, the mane six sure did at first.
One does not simply dislike Trixie.
I’m not going to try and make something specifically to test you! I’m just going to see what happens if Trixie shows up as like a harpy or a slime or something.
Oh boy.
