First off, no. Becoming a Brony doesn’t make you a chick magnet. With the way the Internet and the spread of information works, you are either going to encounter people who don’t know what the whole fandom is or what it does. Or you find the poeple who have been given a negative view of the community either through hateful friends or experiences and thus they have the attitude that anyone affiliated with such a group must therefore be bad news.
 
And speaking from personal experience, if you are in any sort of relationship; romantic or platonic, if they choose to judge you and treat you differently because of something you enjoy as a hobby or express yourself with then they are not the sort of people you need to be around to begin with. If someone actually cares about you and likes you for who you are, they won’t be turned away because of something like being a part of this fandom. And that goes for finding someone to love too.

My case I simply mashed a empty beer bottle in the head of a neighbour who was bad mounting me in the bar he liked to frequent, but hey in my country it’s much easier to get away with this kind of stuff.
