Just realized I made a mistake. Should’ve been HIM who had more blame than Fluttershy. :p
I’d say that’s pretty accurate. Iron will wasn’t completely innocent.
Fortunately he wasn’t depicted as too villainy. He was pretty neutral, really, with how they gave him the dainty basket and how he composed himself when Fluttershy said no and wasn’t intimidated by his assertiveness.
“Eh, how about 50/50, I mean, we’re both reasonable creatures…” adjusts his tie
Yeah that came to me right after posting it. XD But it’s an accurate description of what happened to him.
Heheh… Scapegoat… He is half goat. And had all those goat employees.
I agree more of the blame should have been put on Fluttershy. But we know Rarity and Pinkie wouldn’t do that. Iron will became sort of a scapegoat. At least Fluttershy did retain some of Iron Will’s lessons. She was able to say no to Rainbow Dash during the dragon migration.
Hehe. I like it when the message isn’t totally clear. It’s just like real life! :D
I like to imagine all the rude ponies in the beginning is simply due to the crowd of the market, since we barely see that place. I also don’t like how the episode villainizes Iron Will even though he was just doing his job. More of the blame should have been put on Fluttershy than him.
Other than that, this episode was just trying to teach a lesson. Might have been a little bit mixed up here and there, but it’s an enjoyable romp.
The one part I didn’t like was all the suddenly rude ponies in Ponyville. Other than that, I liked it, though. Lots of great faces and moments - which is why I’m uploading so much right now, hehe Xp
Cute and emotional episode, though, and I think it was the first to really focus on Fluttershy becoming more assertive? Plus, continuity nod at the end to her Stare.
