Yah the impostor idea was one Faith and I came up with to explain the changed cutiemark and behavior. I tend to follow the Hasbro’verse logic. Blueblood is reasonable overall. Still a bit of a jerk or snob at times, but more akin to how Trenderhoof was in it being just a byproduct of where he grew up as oppose to malign intent. And given he’s from a high ranking nobility family, a mix of expectations and environment probably gave him a lot of worry about. Dude’s stressed a lot is all I’m sayin’.
Actually, this Blueblood (in this fic anyway) is much nicer as (again according to The Bridge) the Blueblood from Best Night Ever was just an impostor. THIS Blueblood is more along the lines of a Reasonable Authority Figure.
I was about to apply “moley” to it, but then I realized that that makes an entirely different word :p
Blueblood: “Hello. NICE HORN WE’RE HAVING. I MEAN. NICE WEATHER WE’RE HORNING. I MEAN… I mean… Oh GOD, WHATHAPPENEDTOYOURHORN?!”
(Seriously, Blueblood, guards, courtyard, I thought of “The Assassination of Twilight Sparkle” when I saw the thumbnail. Only heard of the fic, though, didn’t read it.)
