It’s used as a horse laxative. I learned that from a friend who was using it for a liquid-cooled computer he was building.
No, I’m just aware of old-fashioned remedies, and I knew the bit about mineral oil and horses because I read an article years ago about a guy building an oil-submerged PC and the only place he could find enough mineral oil was the horse-sized bottles from a local drug store. Said he got weird looks when I bought several of them.
