I don’t understand why people think that Chysalis Magic suppressor throne is an asspull when if they didn’t have that, then Discord could’ve rescued them all easily and the plot could’ve been avoided. Now, why didn’t they brought pieces of that on the attack to Canterlot is another can of worms in itself, but I have to ask: How would else would the others be rescued if that magic absorbing stone didn’t exist?

It’s a massive plot contrivance that only serve to take away Discord’s power. It just comes out of nowhere, has next to no explanation and just gets destroyed. It’s potentially world breaking and they treat it like it’s a new flavor of ice cream.
Like you want me to compare it to another magically powerful stone, because I can. The Memory Stone is the same fundamental story concept, a magical device that hinders the heroes, except they actually know how to use it. The lore behind the stone is discussed, the effects of it horrifying, the entire plot centers around finding it. But the throne? Oh it’s just some thing that exist, got to destroy it because it’s the big red target at the end of the day.

Exactly. Though he sometimes bugs me with his ‘I am the voice of the silent majority’ thing (which is a pet peeve of mine in general), Estaban’s stubborn ability to dislike everything I like has led to some great discussions, and he never devolves into “Anyone who disagrees with me sucks donkey balls and is worse than Hitler” arguments.
I don’t want a circlejerk, despite what some people say. I just don’t want the kind of people who’s arguments consist of… well donkeys and hitler, because they add very little to the discussion and are impossible to argue with.
…in fact the people who claim that various places (normally everywhere that isn’t 4chan) are circlejerks tend to be the ones who can’t muster an argument more complex than donkey hitlers. Funny that.

Until a mod thinks you’ve broken that rule zero and puts a halt to it.Being contrarian is fun. It makes individuals think instead of blindly and nearly unquestionably follow what they like. If you have more thoughtful users, they give a reasonable reason why they do, and unknowingly helps them keep their rationality in regards to their choices or opinions. Watch how fast the “bait” replies settle in.

Tirek is hands down the worst, most generic villain in the series. Antagonists like Gaea Everfree, Garble, and Gladmane were more compelling than him.
Pinkie almost always has the worst spotlight episodes in the series and is usually better in supporting roles.
