In our /mlp/ naming thread, we think “Valley Glamour” is actually Pretty Woke since she’s Pretty and canonically likes “woke” fashion. We prefer this over the name chosen here. Is it possible for an alias to be added so we can call her Pretty Woke in the same way some other ponies have aliases?

So is “woke” a meme now for everyone who doesn’t understand “vogue”?

I kinda agree, though it seems like none of us really actually know what the terms are or what they mean. Doing my best, I don’t think her fashion preferences match either term though.
 
Woke seems to me more defined by sharp, short cuts of clothing and accessories, with heavy use of texture, with a vintage twist of lace and flou. It’s designed as an instant head-turner but will easily stand out of place in many casual and formal settings.
 
 
Vogue, partly based on Vogue Magazine (125 years circulation) is similar in the modern age of fashion, but it generally adds flared attitude to whatever is fashionable of the time period. Most of the time, Vogue puts twist on conservative and preexisting styles. Vogue fashionistas are more interested in creating art that looks great in a photo shoot, in the wind, and using more color and patterns to create the effect.

Do we have an official name for the henchpony who looks like DustyKatt yet? I heard somewhere it was Pickpocket but I’m not sure if it was from an official source or a fan source. Right now I can’t find an image of him at the moment, but he appears in Stranger than Fanfiction.

Actually, on a more serious note, Cargo Vest could work for him. It goes with the mark, and sounds like the kind of name a tough, jungle exploring mercenary would have.

By the way, the unicorn in the background is probably neither Ballad nor Lilac Notes. You can see her in the movie several times. What do you say?
 
 
The red-maned earth pony up front next to Apple Cobbler has got lots of appearances in the movie, she has even got dialogue, but not a name yet. Guess that’s because everyone believes she’s one of the Apples in the show and therefore already named, but she isn’t.
 
If you take a closer look (like here), you’ll see that her cutie mark isn’t really a rainbow. It rather reminds me of a colourful sunrise or sunset.
 
My name suggestions: Dawn Sunrays or Morning Sunrays. I prefer the former, but I must admit that the latter has a nicer roll.
 
By the way, she seems to change her hair bows to blue ones over the course of the film.
 
Next I’d like to name a unicorn:  
 
The brown-maned unicorn in the middle with the frog cutie mark who is also the second pony from the right here.  

 
Looks like she’s good with amphibia (unicorns tend to be good with animals), but I’d like to give her a name that matches her looks somewhat better (with some French fancy as the only vague hint at her cutie mark): Nougat Praliné.
 
Non-movie ponies:  
 
He’s modeled after Scooter from the Muppet Show. How about something remotely similar? Scooper?
 
 
Easy. How about Fresh Air? (If b-ball is his special talent, you may call him His Fresh Airness.)
