I looked for any errors relating to your issue in the logs, but I couldn’t find anything that suggested that we had an error. Maybe you had a connection timeout issue related to Cloudflare?

Still getting randomly resetting filters when not logged in. It makes it a real pain to use the site.

Also, it wouldn’t let me reply to this thread in the browser. Posting answers just reloaded the page as it was, and the preview showed ‘background pony’ instead of my user name. In worked fine in other places though.  
Maybe my browser is broken a bit… D:

Is there a way I could try to reproduce the filter resetting? I tried naively logging out, setting a filter, and browsing around for a few minutes and a few dozen pages, and it never reset.

I have that issue too, started about 2-3 days ago. Restarting browser (Opera mini 29 without compression) helps, but it occurs again after one click on any link.

Any rotation that’s done with EXIF data does not show up when uploading. This is annoying for traditional stuff from my camera that I had to rotate. Would be nice if this was fixed.
 
Also, the “galleries” button on mobile opens up a dialog menu that goes off the screen. I’ve been saving stuff to my galleries based only on their last few letters forever.

My browser is a bit slow on derpibooru and twitch . Chrome 64 bit windows 7

I have the issue in the latest version of Vivaldi on my laptop, but not in Chrome on my phone.  
Just selected the ‘Explicit’ filter, did some searches, opened stuff in new tabs … and … they’re back to ‘Default’.

This is annoying for traditional stuff from my camera that I had to rotate  
Strip the EXIF data and it stays the same orientation on upload that it is onscreen; get an image editing app that supports layers and layer copying, rotate the image to the proper orientation, copy it, paste the copy onto a new blank image with the appropriate height/width, flatten it, and it no longer has any incorrect EXIF data for the phone or browser or site to screw up.
 
Everyone should probably be doing that with images uploaded from a mobile device anyway just to keep from broadcasting when and where a photo was taken and with what kind of device.

Pretty sure this bug I reported a few weeks ago is related to EXIF. While uploading, the preview of the raw picture was rotated by 90° (and still is, just checked by fetching the raw image again), which I assume is where the wrong height/width came from. Something seems to be going wrong somewhere along the EXIF processing pipeline.

Found a real good bug.  
When an image is deleted from public view one can still see it if they have the direct image link. I can prove it via message if needed as I don’t want put put the image link I have here.

I know that this has been reported quite often, but…ad blockers. A very irritating issue. I know that you can just “disable your ad blocker” or “whitelist Derpibooru,” but I have seen some offensive ads on Derpibooru and am not to keen on disabling the one thing that prevents me from seeing them again.
 
Not sure how easy this is to do, but I assume that it’s easier than it seems, considering the thumbnails have no issues at all. At least with AdBlock on Chrome, posts that have the “advertisement” tag are blocked, unless you click “View” to open just the image itself. (Like I said, the thumbnails show up just fine.) The simplest solution that I can think of would be: don’t have “advertisement” in the filename/URL of the post’s image.

If the ads are ‘offensive’, you should report them to us.

I should probably be a little bit more specific, my apologies: they’re not ads that are particularly offensive, just to me in particular, due to horrible experiences with those operating the organization or service. (Like FillyCon, for example, a convention that had taken my hard work and cut me off.)

The current banner ad violates the default filter by meeting the basic criteria for seizure warning, does that count?
