Nope, never mind.  
It’s working again. I cleared out my cookies and it worked.

So… if you type in “ctrl+alt+del” in the search bar then it works fine
 
But if you go to an image with the tag, for example >>1155163, then it’ll just take you to the homepage

I checked, and the first time I looked, the link pointed to /tags/ctrl%2Balt%2Bdel, which redirects to the front page.  
However, after I manually went to /tags/ctrl-plus-alt-plus-del, the link under the tag pointed to that page instead.  
Very strange.

Looks like most of the rest of the tags with + in them are also broken.

Confirming this. Most of the tags listed here will redirect to the home page when clicked, rather than results for that tag. With the obvious exception of ctrl+alt+del, which was just fixed, and a couple of other exceptions such as artist:+/=. It doesn’t seem that this is because it’s an artist tag, though, as there are a couple of other artists whose tags also redirect to the homepage (which is a problem for them).
 
Another interesting note is that the tag 2+2=5 redirects to “^ ^” …just wat.

667 becomes “alicorn amulet”, 668 becomes “alicorn breeder story”, 666 didn’t redirect for me. 6666 becomes “artist:fluffikitten”, 7777 becomes “artist:horypl”, 32767 becomes “leaf blower”, 65535 becomes “artist:toxicsugar91”, 71519 becomes “shedu” and 90210 becomes “blue spectrum”. 100001 becomes “mix and match”… Are these the tags’ internal IDs?

Just got a merge notification.  
“Somebody merged image #1156115 #1156249 about an hour ago”.  
Maybe I misremember things, haven’t submitted a dupe report in some time, but I’m pretty sure there used to be “into”, “with” or some other word like that between the two image numbers…

My artist tag was created March 2, 2015, so it was around the same time as the Season 5 episodes started getting revealed.

I don’t know if this is a bug or an intentional change but it seems that source links no longer default to opening in a new tab when you click on them.

You must have had it set that way in your browser settings
 
I just hold down ctrl and click a link when I want it to open in a new tab

Yes. it opened in a new tab until a few days ago. it only opened in the same tab when you pressed the “s” button, which is a shortcut for the source.

I kind of actually like if it would open in a new tab though, I guess it doesn’t matter.. I can always hit the back button in my browser, or just hold ctrl when I click the link

But it was just the source links that opened in a new tab, not links in descriptions or comments. I’m not aware of a browser setting that would behave that way.

That is correct, there is a client-side security vulnerability (“tabnabbing”) when forcing links to open in a new tab.
