Right now, I am ashamed of myself for being a Rarijack fan, not just because of Background Pony #DB56’s comments, but because of rabid Rarijack fans who push others away from Rarijack and people who mimic all Rarijack fans by making comments like “WTF?!?! THIS ISN’T RARIJACK!!! DOWNVOTE!!!” and assume that’s the case of all Rarijack fans when not all of them are like that. And Rarijack isn’t the only pairing that has rabid shippers. Every pairing has those kinds of shippers. (Remember the season 2 finale with Flutterdash or CastleMania with AppleDash?)
What if I tell you there are Rarijack fans who are sane, ones that don’t take Rarijack seriously, ones who don’t downvote other AJ/Rarity pairings, ones who ship AJ/Rarity with others, ones who respect other peoples’ opinions whether they agree or disagree? What if there were more of those types of Rarijack fans than the rabid ones?
There are pairings that I do hate. (Yes, AppleDash is one of them.) But it’s never because of the rabid fans.
This is the exact reason Rarijack was ruined for me. People like this. I used to be neutral towards it.

Even if I love Rarijack and hate Appledash, I’m not downvoting this image at all. My downvotes go to any image that is poorly drawn or done.
I’m primarily a fan of Flutterdash and Applepie (along with Raripie, but that doesn’t overlap here), but I still upvoted this. Make of that what you will.
