Nope. Hand painted. Just started with a really pale blue, then added a little more blue each time, blending it in to the last bit. Probably would have been a cleaner transition if I had air brushed it, (if I even possessed an airbrush and knew how to use it that is).
@ConnerzMK1
Forge world Reaver titans are around £580 each now. Took an AGE to paint each of those too.
Forge world Revenant titan (the one with one fin on the back) are around £170 each.
The Phantom titan (big one at the back with 2 fins on the back), I got a while ago off e-bay for £120.
All the other models there are scratch built.
The warhounds cost around £35 each to build, the reaver titans around £50 each, and the harbinger bomber was around £50 in materials.
Altogether, the scratch builds set me back around £360.
Yeah, I did this just to show off really. I do have plenty more models, but carting them about is time consuming, and I doubt I’d have got many more big models in the shot.
@HouraiRabbit
I only really uploaded this picture to show off a bit. There’s only actually 3 forgeworld models here.
I have several other forgeworld toys I’ve purchased over the years, but I didn’t really have much room left here to fit them in this picture. Plus carting these models about was time consuming.
Most of the recent spate of mlp warhammer 40k model pics were uploaded by myself, but I look forward to seeing what everyone else can do.
I’m not expecting to be out-done with this pic any time soon though.

That’s awesome, all that FW stuff. You rich bastard, you. :p Since everyone’s posting My Little Warhammer I may need to upload a bit of my stuff too; I recently started collecting again.

In hindsight, it’s also possible you were looking at the Forgeworld Reaver titan in the bottom right corner.
This model, and the warhound behind the Celestia titan that looks about ready to fall over are painted in the colours of the ‘Deathbolts’, a.k.a Legio Honorum, a canon titan legion. There isn’t actually an official colour scheme for that legio, but I may be able to twist GW’s arm with this paintjob. It does look impressive.
@HouraiRabbit
It’s my own colour scheme for my Eldar army.
It’s also my biggest army. Around 30.000 points, give or take a few hundred.
My Vampire Raider model looks awesome with this colour scheme- the stylized flame effect starts red at the front, then goes through lighter red, orange, then yellow, to white on the rest of the model.
Sadly it’s in a bit of a state at the moment. Both tails have broken off, and the canopies are missing.
I also have 5 super heavy tanks in that force. Mk1 and Mk2 Cobras, Mk1 and Mk2 Scorpions, and an old Armorcast Tempest.
@MrBitey
Yeah. 2 days worth of mess thanks to 3 cats…
They love scattering cat litter all over the floor in the kitchen.
They also seem to be incapable of keeping their food in the bowls…
The Chaos models were done the same way, but using reds.
