IRL commission for one of my colleagues at work. He wanted me to design a Daenerys alicorn (AKA “Danycorn”, as I’ve been calling her) for a friend’s X-mas gift. I know Daenerys didn’t wear her famous blue dress at the end of season eight, but I needed a garment that was something other than black, grey or white, seeing as there is a LOT of those colors in the image. Her blue dress is one of her most iconic outfits, so I chose that. I also wanted her to wear something that made her look delicate as a contrast to the fact that she’s, you know, burning down a city. Dragon wings because she’s the motherf**king Mother of Dragons.

Loved doing this piece. MLP style clouds/backgrounds are so fun to draw and getting to do more pony artwork always puts a smile on my face.
