Every fucking artist and their dog is either sick, dying, or depressed. I’ve seen it so much it’s to the point I’m convinced it all comes from that Seinfeld episode where George buys art because the artist is about to die, and he knows it will boost the value of the art he purchased (because that was explained earlier in the episode).
 
So that’s what I think every creator is doing. They’re playing off their sickness because they think it boosts the value of their work.
 
I’m tired of hearing it. Everyone is depressed, everyone is sick, everyone is going to die. Get the fuck over it. No one cares, unless you’re producing.
