Anypony who heard of Fluttershy’s pregnancy was honestly shocked. No one would have thought that a draconequus and a pony could have a baby together - not even the parents themselves. Fluttershy was a bit overwhelmed with the surprise pregnancy, but she was also overjoyed. Discord had come such a long way, and the prospect of raising their child together was wonderful. Discord was quite unsure, however - he didn’t think he could live up to the expectations his wife had for him. Twilight was quite involved with the pregnancy, wanting to document every aspect of it. Fluttershy acquiesced, though was embarrased by some of the more intrusive aspects of the study. As the pregnancy progressed, Fluttershy deteriorated. By the end, she was weak and on constant bedrest. Though no one knew it at the time, the magic of the draconequus pup inside of her was draining her. The birth was simply too much for the frail pegasus, and Fluttershy passed without getting to meet her baby.
 
Discord was utterly devastated. He tried his best to be a single father to Entropy, as his beloved Fluttershy had loved this pup so deeply. But he quickly began to resent the small creature. She was the reason his beloved had died. He’d never wanted to be a father in the first place - the pup was an accident, and he’d mostly gone along with Fluttershy’s desires to have the thing. Now that Fluttershy was gone, he had no reason to want the pup in his life. Discord abandoned his daughter outside Twilight’s residence and disappeared from the realm. He has not been heard from since.
 
Twilight was horrified to find the draconequus pup on her doorstep. She had no clue how to raise a pony foal - let alone a baby draconequus. She quickly called upon the alicorn sisters for help. After plenty of assurance from Celestia’s part (after all, Discord clearly trusted Twilight with his daughter, she was Fluttershy’s best friend, and one of the most magically gifted unicorns known to Equestria,) Twilight settled into her new role as a mother. She was not quite prepared for the outburts of magic from a draconequus pup - enough to make a unicorn foal’s magical mishaps look like card tricks. As per usual, Twilight overreacted. She stowed the pup away form the public eye, disguising her as a unicorn foal on the rare instances she left with the pup. She worked to suppress Entropy’s magics and instill order into the pup - but in reality, she gave Entropy quite the complex.
 
Entropy is very anxious and neurotic. She is terrified of her own powers, and uses various magical objects to suppress her abilities. She hides away from the public eye for the most part, and is always anxious to do exactly what her mother expects of her. She knows of her birth parents, but does not know how Fluttershy passed.
 
 
Other Notes:
 
–Discord was the one to name her Entropy, as he saw the death of his beloved Fluttershy as a great tragedy  
–Luna didn’t really think the raising of Entropy should have been put on Twilight; she believed that she and Celestia should have taken in the pup, as they were more equipped for the task
