Update: Yes, ChibiJenHen did in fact do pencil art for issue #260 for the Sonic comic. (And it’s very difficult to get a job on the official comic BTW. A friend of mine was trying to for years.)
 
Kinda makes this image/tumblr >>172201 that was bashing her art (just for having Sonic & pony in it) very ironic.

Not all of it is, we’ve got some pretty good Sonic pics on the site, and there’s quite a few good Sonic fanartists on DA, and such. (If you can get past all the poorer artists, or “copy & paste” artists, and such.)
 
ChibiJenHen, as well as TearsofThunder/TurtieDroppings, Blazetbw & SSSonic2 are an example of a few great Sonic fanartist we have on Derpibooru. In fact, I think ChibiJenHen got to work on the official Sonic comic recently.
