Same. I was hoping they’d end with the book, as a nice callback to the beginning and a good way to say farewell. Dunno how a closing narration would’ve worked. Maybe each princess gives their own goodbye with a little saying about friendship, or perhaps the Mane Six, with Twilight having the last line.
