That deflation sound is just… really begging for fetishy stuff

You know the rules of the internet, if it exists, there is a fetish for it. Not saying this is a fetish, maybe the animators just want to experiment with different things. There were several sports related episodes in FIM. Are people going to say the animators had a whistle blowing fetish just because Spitfire and Rainbow dash commonly blew them during said episodes?

Yeah, I remember cartoons used to always have bad guys “tickle torturing” characters, (most famously Don Turteli from TMNT) because that was practically the only form of torture allowed in children’s media, and because it’s kinda comical. Even that has become a popular “fetish” recently too, but it wasn’t intended to be one, it was originally meant to be just an innocent/comical form of torture, but some “kids” became fixated on that as they grew older.
 
Frankly, anything could become a fixation/obsession/fetish.
 
Y’know, I always liked the “characters getting flattened” visual gag in cartoons, but I don’t fetishize it. In fact, I was kinda surprised some actually do. (Though, it’s not as common as other “cartoony fetishes.”) I can sort’ve understand the appeal of characters transforming, which is basically where all these fetishes probably stem from. Technically making them all a kinda “Transformation fetish.”
 
Does that mean we can’t have characters so much as change clothes, just because it might be somebody’s “fetish” to see them change form even slightly?

Just because internet weirdos are gonna fetishise it doesn’t mean it’s designed to be fetish material or that the person behind it intended it as such

Maybe, but how do you think we develop these fetishes at puberty? We see them in cartoons and shit. So those of us that HAVE the fetish, will still see it as such, regardless of the media source.  
(For example, with my vore fetish, I can’t help but, not only see it EVERYWHERE, but also get… awake? whenever I see it(sometimes mixed with other emotions depending on the context, which kinda hurts my heart))  
Verdict: Just because YOU don’t see it as fetishized… because it isn’t/even if it isn’t. Someone else still will.
