Yes, I know what your mean and all the histories. Actually, I’d never use Javanese Script since I went from Elementary School (it is about 11 years ago). Therefore, I am an Javanese/Indonesian will re-introduce and learn again this script that forbade by native people (mainly, Indonesian Bronies) because onslaught of foreign culture. As well you know. Today, many native Javanese people are less appreciative about their culture and this script too.

You ever wonder why hardly anyone uses this script anymore? I’ll tell you: When Japan occupied the Dutch East Indies (modern-day Indonesia) during World War II, it forbade the use of any language in the colony other than Japanese. All the other languages took a hit, especially Javanese, which forced its unique script to die out. Once the Japanese were driven out, Javanese started writing its language using the Latin script, inherited from its Dutch colonizers.
