I was disappointed to learn that Rarity was a Twilight clone.
 
I remember one poster on Equestria Daily suggested switching Fluttershy and Rarity’s attacks (which as a bonus, gives each pony type a melee or a ranged attack), and another suggested spacebar for attack and down for special might make more sense in some cases, which I both agree with.
 
Otherwise, I’ve enjoyed it so far. (And just unlocked Pinkie!)

The controlls are ok and responsive but the ponies tend to “slide” a bit when you unpress the “go letf” or “go right” button.  
Outside of that it’s OK… unless i’m just good at platformers.

As always Applejack is the one shafted most. Not only her “special power” is the ability to climb ladders but her attack hits behind her instead of in front like most.
 
But at least it’s one of the strongest in the game.
 
Also Dash is best pony (in game).

I just finished the game and here’s a few fun spoilers:  
Pinkie uses her party cannon and Fluttershy uses the stare as their attacks.
