Trixie has awakened from her mid-stasis 30-year diagnostic program, which has ensured she has reasonable sanity, good nature, and an understanding of the more controversial aspects of human morality. Now I must spend the next few months studying her to create her first clone. Within a year, her design should become standardized, leading to mass-produced clones of her.

I don’t think that would work well with Twilight. I mean, sure, Twilight does get jealous a lot of times, but she already knows about sharing friends. She’s friends with ponies who are all friends with each other, after all. If they were to do an episode involving Starlight spending more time with Trixie and not Twilight, it would have to have a moral like some friends you spend more time with and have more fun with than others but that doesn’t mean you aren’t friends with anypony else.

It WOULD be a very old school MLP episode theme, knowing you can share your friends and not being jealous.  
But I wonder if they haven’t already broached the subject a few times already… Would be fun though.

Having Trixie return more often, maybe even become a main fixture of the show, would be very nice.  
After all, she was brilliant in the finale, the best highlight for some. Her character has lots of potential.

Plus the fact that Starlight, when asked to pick the pony she trust most, went to Trixie over Twilight.  
Sick burn too.

What I find very cute about this scene is that when all of Starlight’s friends break out of their cocoons, the first pony she checks on is Trixie. Not Twilight, not one of the mane six, but Trixie. I think that really shows how much Trixie means to Starlight.
