Too bad Twilight never argued something was wrong; at least not at that point in the episode. She said Cadance was rude. So the comic is a flat-out lie.

Because every single other pony in ponyville is a god damn idiot, Canterlot is full of douchebags who are rude and can’t take things seriously unless they’re a Royal guard or The Princesses, Apploosa has no good security at all whatsoever and random shit happens there a lot, Manehatten is most likely full of assholes.. seeing that Babs Seed lives there and almost became one. Cloudsdale is too extreme and not all that safe even for the Wonderbolts. The crystal empire is full of ponies who have split personas and looks, and are pretty much in the only safest place in all of Equestria after King Sombra was killed.

… And people are wondering why ponies thought she was crazy.
