Did you know? Dan Harmon, the co-creator of Rick & Morty, and one of the screenplay writers on the movie Monster House, wrote that particular skit that was produced in 1996 [one year prior to the broadcast of Dexter’s Laboratory’s “D & DD”]. I know! I mean sure, he won all that stuff with Luna and she kissed him. But Smart Mac was getting gleefully alliterative when he saw the “legendary learned lady”/“fellow erudite equine”.
Lunamac, whilst high on my list of ships, is nice but that mainly shows they get along well after a while and are good matches physically.
But with Twimac, they’re closer on a mental note. She’s an eager, still learning, somewhat scatter brained(clutter-minded?) genius/prodigy. He’s a orderly, calm, gentle giant genius bruiser. She went into his mind, he went into hers. Lots of stress slime everywhere. An inception reference if you look close…

Maybe, but as I and Ebonysdagger were saying, if sitting in a specific seat (or being jealous of someone else sitting in a specific seat) is indicative of a crush, then we can hypothesize that Big Macintosh may have a crush on Rainbow Dash. Of course, it’s highly unlikely that is the situation here, but one is free to define this scene at one’s discretion.
