We’re talking about the same Celestia who had the idea to ‘reform’ Discord. Combine that with how Twilight’s now a princess herself, I’d say she lucked out in turning over Starlight and making her an apprentice for good measure.

I dont think Celestia nor Luna would allow Twi to let a criminal whom attempted to fuck up Equestria get away and redeemed that easily.

Please I already knew this show was childish as is all other cartoons. :/ you be a moron not to know. However I will say this MLP:FIM is a cartoon done right as opposed to most of the shit cartoons today with no overarching plot.

A little tired of every season finale acting like they’re closing the entire series, but this is really quite cute.

I suspect that when the script for the finale is locked (finalized), it’s too early to know if they’re going to get approved for another season, possibly. I wonder if it’s meant to be a memorable way to close out not just the season, but the show.
 
In that context, I suppose I don’t mind looking at the smiling faces of so many characters we’ve come to love over the years. (Of course, I know we’re getting a sixth season. It’s just interesting to think about!)
