Well, yea you’re kinda right on the “powerful” subject. But the show didn’t elaborate on it. I don’t remember the show saying that. Now, they show it by giving her a princess name and making her an alicorn. And sorry to side note here, but before, a lot of people thought alicorns were rare creatures and that they aren’t made by somepony becoming a princess.
She was more powerful than her friends when she was a unicorn and her element is the most powerful among the Elements of Harmony, besides, it’s confirmed that her relationships with her friends will be the same and she will still go on adventures. Plus, we still have the rest of the Mane 6 who have to solve their own problems.
That’s not the reason why. The main reason why Twilight having wings and the fact that she’s a princess is that she will over shadow and out shine her other friends. She’s an all powerful celestial being now and her friends are just regular ponies. She takes up all the glory. Did you people even thought about that? I’m still going to watch season 4 though, but I still have the right to dislike her new form.
