This was probably one of the most heart-wrenching moments of the episode with Applejack mentioning how proud her, Big Mac, and Apple Bloom’s parents would have been to see Apple Bloom get her cutie mark at long last.
 
I was so proud as well…(groans)…Oh, no…My heart. MEDIC!!

This was the perfect episode to finally confirm this, too. It’s the highest possible emotional point for the Apple Family, so you might as well pull out all the stops.
 
I just wonder now if Lauren is going to get her CMC spin-off. It certainly seems we’re leaning that direction now. I certainly wouldn’t object to it.

No, there are still several possibilities other than death for their parents. All this statement disproved is the possibility that they were overseas or something for a super long period of time. The possibilities that say, they’re in a coma, or they’re missing is still there.

Confirmed? Applejack confirmed very little that we didn’t already know for sure (we know they were not around, now we know that they’re not around and aren’t in contact). That’s about it.
