Mlp has a whole TV tropes Page on Draco in Leather Pants and i dont think Ive seen starlight on it so yes

Let’s face it. Every female MLP villain has to call herself Draco and wear leather pants at some point. It’s the audience’s way of coping with the fact that there’s no canon grey morality in this show whatsoever, at least as far as presentation is concerned.
 
That said, if you have to resort to making Starlight Glimmer join Slytherin and wear trousers made from tanned animal hides to love her, then you don’t really love her.
