Big Mac x Cadance?
Eh, I ship it
Some of the best headcanon ever written, seems relevant:
![full](http://derpicdn.net/img/2013/5/19/329026/large.jpeg(May Larson make it canon. Praise be.))
Obviously, but who tends to it while she’s off in the Everfree, or Canterlot, the Crystal Empire or battling Discord and Tirek?
Applebuck Season; AJ tells Mac to not use his “fancy mathematic” so she’s clearly not in charge of the books…
Applejack more than likely work at the farm as well
Who do you think pays the bills and balances the checkbooks?
Big Mac: the true Apple Family Hero
And the next day he gets swamped by the local villain.
Shining Armor doesn’t need to give a speech like Big Mac’s.
He already knows he’s a Big Damn Hero; Cadance reminds him of it in bed each night.
I gave you a link to the translation, but it means that Big Mac’s been growing with a bit of a hole in his heart and each time the series passes, it’s growing bigger every day.
With the strength of a will and a cause
Your pursuits are called outstanding
You’re emotionally complex
Against the grain of dystopic claims
Not the thoughts your actions entertain
And you, have proved, to be
A real human being
And a real hero
College - A Real Hero
man, it was fascinating to hear big mac doing that speech, feeling like that all this time. It truly captured how an introvert opens to a person they trust.
no one knows what that means or why its special
Why make things longer than they need to? What you’re proposing isn’t adding depth, that’s padding; the two are distinctly different. Everything we needed to know from his thoughts, his motivations, his fears and his eventual pouring out of his soul (which is right up there with Moondancer’s breakdown) was right there from minute 1 down to minute 22.
I also then relayed it to be relevant to the show, congratulations to yourself for proving you are not reading what I am saying and invalidating everything you say, in which case, Thanks for proving me right, now I can leave, :D
This was not a sad moment, it was not deep, stop taking this so much futher then it should be taken and grow up, peace out :)
exactly, it’s a show of pastal coloured ponies, not, a show about what I want it to be. keep your head cannons to yourselves people this show is made for little girls, not you.
Boku no kokoro ni yo wasa wa sumi-tsuiteta
Otona ni naru tabi yowasa ga hirogatte…
First two lines from W by Mitsuru Matsuoka.
>”and you saying inrl problems like this just end in 22mins?”
Well, I mean, a ~24 min time slot is a standard episode length for a reason…
>”it would have been more realistic in the show’s worth too, and…”
It also would’ve made the audience sad, which would probably drive a lot of people away. I mean MLP isn’t exactly a name that attracts people because of its excellent use of sadness-inducing story arcs.
>”made Mac’s sudden personality change make more sense, in that, it was much deeper then we thought.”
I think either way adds depth to his character (if he had said nothing -> we see the failure driving him deeper into introversion; if he spoke up -> we see the failure being used to strengthen his bond with AB). The difference is whether that added depth contributes positively or negatively to his bond with AB. And I guess I just personally prefer positive… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
…You just went the “this should’ve been more realistic” route. About a cartoon with pastel-colored ponies.
Congratulations: you have just invalidated not only this argument but all of your future arguments.
