I was just directly responding to the comment they left here since I don’t know to reply to a comment left here on the forums. I suppose I could have quoted them in which case I apologize. I also don’t claim to be an expert on the rules rather I was just explaining a singular rule.

Additionally, the mod literally just said for you use the forums to air your complaints. To not respect this means you are contributing to comment spam on this image; Since you assert yourself to be such an expert on the rules, it’s truly bizarre to find you breaking other rules and directly contradicting the intent of the mods in channels not meant for such things.

I do understand that the only reason I replied is because Minus was giving his opinion so I was just explaining my counter argument on that even though it was a pointless effort. It was more naive hope that someone would actually consider some of the points I made because not doing anything about it is what’s causing these same arguments when they could just update the rules and be done with it.

The thing is, the decision’s already been made. And people repeating the same argument every other image isn’t going to change anything but people’s patience with it. Your opinion doesn’t actually matter here, and the sentiments have already been expressed ad nauseam. Making the same tired arguments won’t accomplish anything - if it was going to, it would have quite some time ago. If you don’t like it, filtering is really your only remaining option. Please take it.

The thing I don’t like about flexing the rules is that the rules state it needs to be pony related so if you keep letting things that are not related slip by then just change the rule to something like pony related and Fightin’ Herds related or something of that degree because if you ignore the rule then why make it a rule? Also Fightin’ Herds is it’s own original content, isn’t an alternate FIM universe, and isn’t related at all. The other reasons make no sense at all because just having been on the staff or enjoyed the show doesn’t automatically make everything you do related to the show. This is basically the same story as a game called Freedom Planet which started as a sonic fan game but turned into an original creation and obviously that game isn’t considered a sonic game anymore.

I don’t know how you made that sound like a bad thing. I’ve never heard anyone ask the rules to be less flexible before.
 
We allow things here that are Barely Pony Related, because people actually WANT to see funny things about Tara and Faust and so on. They want to see that little referential nod to MLP in another cartoon. What kind of mods would we be to sit here with our new server full of empty space, and then delete all these pictures? No-one gains from it, they only lose.
 
And as I’ve said a few too many times now, Fightin’ Herds is an alternate MLP FIM universe, with staff from MLP, and the Brony fandom. These 3 things ON THEIR OWN are usually enough to get a few pictures allowed in. So to try and claim this shouldn’t be here at all is just absurd.
 
Also in my last post, having 3 of you all complain one after the other, I just lumped you all together. It wasn’t all directed at you. I’d love to calm down, but I’ve got more people to explain this to… And then more people after that. I just wish you guys would at least use the forums if you need to complain that badly. It’s not fair to the artists to keep seeing this. Sorry, rant over.

I wasn’t battling anyone rather I was just making a point. I also never thought about nor posted anything non-pony related so get off your high horse and calm down. All I was saying is you guys flex the rules a bit.

If you wanna keep up this battle against the mods here, go ahead. Go post something non-pony related in protest and watch yourself get banned. That’ll show us for allowing this in!
 
Or you can realise that this game is a Brony made game for Bronies that Bronies care about and deserves a home here on the best Brony image site, and do the smart thing, which is to stop complaining. This series falls within the site’s rules, those other shows do not. But if you think imposing strict rules and deleting not just this, but everything else that isn’t 100% pony is a good idea, then you’re on the wrong site. We aren’t gonna go shredding artwork sent to us for not being exactly right, that helps no-one. Instead we let you choose what you personally want to see, let you do the deciding via the blacklist.
 
You don’t have to use the blacklist, but you do have to stop telling us what we do and do not allow. This matter has been settled on and won’t be changing.
