Actually, I did watch that way back when, and it was the first anime I ever watched, even though at the time I didn’t even know what “anime” was (early 90’s).

Lots a VAs from Ranma 1/2 feature in FiM. Shampoo - Spike, Ukyo - Starlight Glimmer, and alot more I cant even recall.
I actually recognized, Rei, Bulma, and Ranma before I recognized the Sailor Moon pony. Mainly because the meatball hair isn’t very pronounced.
