Show for kids, anyone? I was honestly relieved that writers didn’t have them outright win cuz that would have been bullshit. As for your claim, no athletic ponies competed back then. RD doesn’t have a sister (or at least didn’t until recently) and AJ had been removed from the race. The fact that a random average family beat Rarity tells volumes that she is no match for top athletic ponies.
