Ha ha! I haven’t met anyone that worked in a store that didn’t feel the same way. I love Christmas music myself, but it takes the fun out of if you hear it too much, and too often. Why stores want to drill that into people’s heads so early I’ve no idea…

I worked at Party City for a while and we’re set for Halloween by mid-September. The “Halloween music” starts October 1, midnight.  
October 31, midnight… starts the Christmas music. Oi.

In Virgina, it’s no different. Before Halloween is over the Christmas decorations start going up. And before Thanksgiving you start hearing Christmas music being played.

British high street shops typically start putting out Xmas decorations and seasonal products on September 1st. A small portion of the seasonal aisle is held for Hallowe’en stuff, then on November 1st it’s replaced by even more Xmas goodies! :D

But it’s not even Thanksgiving yet!
