Maybe that explains why he can’t get a date.
Also, remember that label about ear cancer on the first ever Germs release? Yeah, it had one of those as well.
More specifically, I knew vevans0009 wouldn’t answer my question.
I tend to reply when only I can add to or counter something that a comment stated. So, I thought that comment can stand on its own, and I didn’t disagree with the quoting statement, so I let it be.
Somehow I knew that wouldn’t get a reply…
@Poptard
To be fair, Flash is kind of portrayed as being full of himself in ‘A Banner Day.’ He’s got a fairly high opinion of himself as a musician and clearly has a problem with people messing with his ‘do.
In his defense, this probably marks the single greatest amount of character development he has had without relying on Twilight Sparkle or Sunset Shimmer, but unfortunately as these elements only reinforce the whole ‘idealized teenage love interest’ thing, it only does so marginally, and even then it doesn’t really do him many favors.
Plus, the whole “Love in a Flash” thing was so corny it physically hurt to watch. Very gag-worthy.
He’s like a tamer, lamer, cornier Rainbow Dash.
You mean this?
I’m a fool? So now you’re calling us names? Hrmmm. Your posts are going round and round in circles and as biased towards Equestria Girls as you can possibly be, to the point you look like you are ranting. I suggest you stop this baiting before you get reported.
I have been one since’05. No one gets pissed at having glitter put on you. That is so childish. You can just wash it off. Sure, pony RD used to be but, not anymore. Goes the same with pony Rarity. These versions in EQG have stayed as the stereotypical types for the past two movies. No trying to get rid of those negatives. Plus, they bicker more than their pony counterparts.
Broken Base. The section has it. And that is just one of the few i have seen.
It is NOT nonsense, fool. It is more reliable to use than you THINK. Its on Broken Base. It shows people who does not like his personality and those who for some reason, do. SO it is not so one-sided as you want it to be. You can deny it all you want. Flash is still not a well developed character at all.
Why would Trixie marry something like Sethisto?
I’ve been a troper since ‘09, so I know my way around the site. Flash may have an ego, but only of a confidence level that doesn’t make him a complete douche (brainwashing aside). Paying attention to one’s appearance isn’t a negative trait by what levels we’ve seen; after all, wouldn’t you object if someone poured glitter in your hair?
If you think having a bit of an ego makes him totally unlikable, meet Rainbow Dash. If you think being a little vain makes him unlikable, meet Rarity. If you think having both mean he’ll stay unpopular, meet Sethisto and his future wife, Trixie.
I looked up the TV Tropes page on “Friendship Games”, and I have no idea how that supports your opinion.
If you don’t like Flash that’s fine, but don’t try to bend reality to unjustly make your opinion seem so “obviously correct” that people would be crazy to disagree with your personal opinion. That you’re argument consists of saying “Tropes” and not providing any kind of argument or even pinpointing particular applicable tropes, doesn’t create a strong position, either. Moreover, TVTropes certainly isn’t a strong foundation to base an opinion on as it is.
Its cute that you think that way. Its well research by peeps who give a damn to add to them.
It’s cute how you think tropes and opinions are functionally the same to facts.
They are not as douchey or as vain as Flash though. More of the same gets stale. Look up Tropes on the Frienship Games. I am not the only one who caught on that.
Tropes.
“You say that like it’s a bad thing.” “We’re plenty popular enough, darling.” “Looks like somepony’s biased!”
What is this accusation based on?
