I LOVE your picture!!! Could you try drawing Sunset Shimmer, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Princess Cadance, Shining Armor, Flash Sentry and his band as crystal gems. And if you want to add Spike in too, a perfect gem for him would be Fluorite, which is a purple and green gem associated with harmony and relationships.

I’ve always thought the mane six as gems could be something like this:  
Applejack - Imperial Topaz (a gem that comes in varieties of orange and yellow, which matches AJ’s color palette, is associated with money, love, and protection)  
Twilight - Tanzanite (a gem that comes in varieties of blue, purple, and pink, also sounds similar to her pony name and matches her color palette, is associated with power, love, and is sometimes called a “stone of magic”)  
Rarity - Charoite (a purple and white gem, is associated with power and generosity)  
Rainbow Dash - Rainbow Aura Quartz (a rainbow-colored gemstone, associated with removing both fear and depression)  
Pinkie Pie - Strawberry Quartz (a pinka and red gem, it is associated with love and euphoria. seems perfect for pinkie in my opinion)  
Fluttershy - Ametrine (ametrine is a purple and yellow gem, almost matches fluttershy, it is also associated with healing and inner peace)

I think if you upload a better high-res version and immediately report the lower-res one as a dupe to be merged with the superior quality one, the manual dedupe/merge process works pretty seamlessly by just popping it as “###### was merged with ######” in the Notifications.

I wouldn’t bother putting “full res of >>imgnumber” in the description…it’s gonna get merged and deleted anyway.

The Gem Temple is pretty clearly based on the fusion of Rose, Pearl, Amethyst, and Ruby/Sapphire.
