Yes, all fandoms have bad people, but this one’s ability to band together and bitch about meaningless things that completely ignore the talent of the creator is one of the greatest. I think the artist could try branching out into others without leaving this one altogether, but they’re free to do what they wish.
 
Also I was the one who commented about the Pinkie Pie pictures. I clicked anonymous then, but now I don’t really care a whole lot. This’ll all be gone soon, probably.

I had no idea… would you be kind enough to link this? If this is true, that is very offensive. If you expect respect from people, but then refuse to give any yourself, how on Earth could you possibly expect reactions different from what you’re getting right now? Well, maybe not quite that fast, but still…

I do think that if you split as soon as some whateverphobic trolls poke you, you’re just letting them win, too. Derpibooru admins and users will support you on this matter (as long as you play nice).  
I don’t care if you draw or not out of personal preference, but how do you expect any of the things you draw to become more accepted if you just let yourself be intimidated and made disappear.
