Yes, there are many stories, where Celestia goes into public incognito as Sunny Skies. But this particular picture is tied to that particular story, where the characters went to party and Celly sang a song.

I knew her from Princess Celestia Gets Mugged (where she’s a pegasus, which would suit the Princess better than being a unicorn). There are several other stories about “Sunny Skies” out there on FIMFiction, too; it would be awesome if “Sunny Skies” ends up as Princess Celestia’s official alternate persona…
