Slight differences like Twilight’s dust when she first runs away, position when running away and the steps to the right in the same scene.
Slowed down a touch.

Also because if the talking continued, it would reveal the boarding/animation mistake of Twinkleshine speaking with a different voice.
It’s not the equipment itself that’s the problem, you gotta buy somethin’ if you wanna watch a thing; it’s that cable and satellite companies charge a monthly fee on top of their already exorbitant prices for the privilege of using DVRs.
Do they still sell stand-alone DVRs? I guess it doesn’t matter if VHS is working for you, and I, too, think it’s a rip off to charge so much for the equipment.
Fair enough. I was incredulous towards the idea of them re-animating it, and am still a little incredulous towards them re-voicing it…though the re-voicing makes sense in context regarding Twinkleshine et al’s expanded roles in this episode.
@ED-SKaR
VHS?
I’ll adopt DVR when the %$#& content deliverers stop charging a monthly fee for the privilege of owning one, and my first hand-me-down TV as a kid was black and white, so I’m not nearly as nerdy about image quality as Kids These Days. I also live in the woods and have satellite internet which meters my bandwidth from 6AM to Midnight and is only technically “broadband” in the first place, so I don’t watch much online.
I…. what? VHS? For realsies?
Wait, you record new episodes on a VHS?
Oh yeah, Is there a tag for “accidental 3D”?
I don’t think they reanimated it– seriously, do the steroscopic thing, it’s awesome– except for maybe the part where Twinkleshine is talking, but for that part at least it absolutely sounds like they re-recorded it; the voices just aren’t the same. That may be because I’m hearing the S01E01 voice from a DVD source and the S05E12 from VHS, but it sure sounds re-recorded.
Sauce?
Maybe it’s just me, but Twinkleshine sounded weirdly different in the flashback. It didn’t sound quite like the same exact voice in the rest of the episode.
“Haha, look at this! We were such noobs back then! I mean, it looked OK, but it wasn’t done right! Let’s fix everything.”
Oh, wow. That’s funny.
@Jarkes
Did they really? Seems like a waste of time.
yeah, that was a nice touch
