I’ve wondered that myself and I stumbled on the answer while idly browsing DeviantArt one day. While I forgot who it was specifically, it does appear to be someone commissioning pics of the pairing, especially with the accessory swap.

I’ve seen a lot of these pics of them swapping accessories and it makes me wonder, is there a fic behind this or something? Seems like one person is commisioning all these, and yet there’s barely any context behind them other than shipping. Would really like to see a story based off this.
