The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

Well, when it comes to electronic music it is mostly stuff that would be like video game music, sometimes including guitar. Also used to do some punk but haven’t done much when that in a while.

I ask because we’ve been looking for a musician for a project I’m currently involved in to do some “Smooth Beats” for a radio segment by Long Play.

I’m voicing Long Play ^ . ^

Clearly not dubstep, so what type of music do you play?

I really don’t want to derail this thread any further, but here’s the best tip for any creative effort at all. Don’t do it because you want to be well known, or want recognition, or make a lot of money. Do it anyway, because you love it. It doesn’t matter if you have an audience or not at first. At first, no one does.

In time, if you’re working hard to improve and experiment (and take criticism well), fans will eventually find you. It may be this fandom, or it may be the next big thing. Or you may do something beyond a fandom (which are very hard to making a living off of, btw). Just keep producing and don’t ever stop.

TheAntiCat is right in that moping about it won’t change anything. It won’t change people’s mind about your music. In fact, too much moping might put potential fans off.

Too bad about your career. Oh wait, no one but you should be concerned over that. You’re either gonna make the music you want and ignore the “haters” (for lack of a better term) or you curl up and die.
Looks like you chose the easy route.

Easy route is my only choice now with my inability to do anything that takes even the smallest bit of effort. Anymore I just want to sleep…that’s it really.

dare I ask what your career and this community have to do with each other?

I didn’t really want to be big…just wanted to have my name going around this community a bit like it did for Tarby and etc. Never happened.

Wait I think I remember you, you tried making music but everyone listened to dubstep instead of your music.

That’s kind of biased.

Pfffthahaha, what? are you serious?
I don’t like some types of music in this show but it never killed entire episode for me.

Dubstep can kill anything for me. Killed my career before I even had a chance in this community.
