remember how I said that the ponies aren’t as weak and pitiful as you might believe, well I have a little clip from this epic battle between Twilight or as you called her “little miss freindship” and the infamous Tirek, this battle is quite “badass” as you put it the battle involves a lot of energy blasts and even unfortunately some serious collateral damage. I feel that everypony so far has treated you as a threat because that’s the persona that you put out. I mean heck I cant count how many times you threatened to destroy one place or another. But if you just give ponies a chance you might find their not as “Mushy” as you might have one thought. If you want to stay here your gonna have to turn over a new leaf and mellow out a bit. Please hear me out I sympathize with you now that I know more about you and I just want the best for you. However if you keep up this violent and destructive behavior I will have to use force I really don’t want it to come to that so please show some Vigilance.

Methinks this Gig arc is approaching the climactic showdown. And FiM canon demands that Equestria survive it, while that video game’s canon demands that Gig survive it.

So, six of us are still no match for him, and if it weren’t for Zecora’s medical talent my wings would have had to be amputated, dashing forever my dream of being a Wonderbolt.

I believe it best to get know your enemy before taking them on in combat, and this guy has rather tragic background. It appears that he was once a good entity by name of Vigilance and apparently he was the master of death in a world Haephnes. He guided souls into the afterlife. Long story short He was killed by Median the Conquerer who had been tricked by Drazil. What we really have to blame is that not too long after this Drazil erased Gig’s memories and turned him to a bloodthirsty murderer. What we is a way give him these memories back and restore Vigilance to former self. Maybe he would stop tearing apart Equestria in blind fury.

I get it your angry and you have every right to be, however that anger is misplaced you should be angry at Drazil he’s the one you have to blame you’re current state of being. Believe it or not you were once a nice guy by name of Vigilance you ushered souls of the world Haephnes into the afterlife. You were killed by Median the Conquerer who been tricked by none other than Drazil. Drazil then wiped your memories, and made you into a bloodthirsty killer filled with blind anger and rage. Is any of this coming back to you cause it really should. My point is that this meaningless destruction does not accomplish anything. Now I don’t know much about Drazil guy other that he seems to have it in for you. So if there is anyone who you should be taking your aggression out on it’s him. Contemplate your past it might make you better person.

Well, technically… they only managed to very temporarily incapacitated him. If he had decided to remain in the statue or couldn’t free himself, then he would have lost. But since he broke out through his own power, he hasn’t really lost, yet. They can turn him to stone over and over again, but if he keeps breaking out and can keep fighting, he really isn’t defeated. When Discord, a being who has been shown to be semi-omnipotent, was turned to stone, he wasn’t able to free himself, thereby showing his power to be weaker than the Elements’. In Gig’s case, it took him (literally) half of a second to do what it took Discord to do in half a millennium. (I’m not saying any of this to boost his already massive ego; it’s just my opinion)
