Actually, I only just now realized it wouldn’t be appropriate to call Josukeight either Yoshikage nor Josefumi. He is an entirely new person around a few weeks old. Essentially, DIO the protagonist. Also, since he’s named after a dog, I’d suggest had I access to Araki’s ear, he rename him Henri after Indiana Jones. Well, right, he still needs JoJo in his name, I give up. XD

Remember, even before becoming a vampire, Ice was very devoted to Dio. Hell the reason he became a vampire in the first place was because Dio revived him after he cut his own head off in an offer to give blood with no hesitation.

Hopefully, Josukeight’s real name will be Kujo. His first name can be anything, but I will be mildly unhappy if that’s not his family name. XD
How do you think I got up to speed on everything? That retranslated Part 4 is pure love, the colored final arc is a bonus.
If you’re really impatient (me), y’all can find unofficial translations of Part 4-8 to read between episodes of the current anime. Secchannn~… X3
I recommend it. Phantom Blood is pretty much pure straight shonen, then part 2 comes and goes balls to the wall crazy.
Part 3 anime only has a few episodes before its over, so its a perfect time to binge watch if you dont wanna go for the manga at first (helps that the anime is pretty much 100% accurate.
Once again. Yikes.
But now I both want to see more of this crossover and am that much closer to getting into this series now.
Mind you, the OVA was a bit less cruel with Ice first erasing the bottom half of Iggy, then punting him across the room. This was kicking the dog till his ribs started to puncture the lungs.
