It’s because the pony creator is frowned upon. It’s seen as unoriginal and lazy, not to mention annoying. It’s kind of like the feeling you get when you see a gnat. It’s alright to use the pony creature for personal use, but when you try to share it, just… just don’t.
 
Anyone else have a better explanation? I know there must be some psychological reason I am forgetting…

I can’t imagine why you thought posting this would do anything other than give you negative votes on concept alone. Are you new to the fandom?
