Hmm. Point. Really, the only thing barring board wipes is the spirit of the game. Hard to have a game of friendly cooperation when there’s that one guy who keeps making everything
diebe dismissed. But MLP has cheap card-drawing and a guaranteed flow of “mana,” which tends to reduce the impact of unfun effects. By the time you cast Wrath of Faust, you’re probably looking at boosted Manes and four or five tokens per turn, which can be spent to dig up entry Friends or fixers for your secondary color. At most you have one or two uneventful turns while players get back on their feet, and then it’s right back to the game.
Given how the resource system works, a Wrath effect would also be close to an Armageddon. That seems less than fun. (Of course, so does all of your creatures getting -4 power.) We’ll have to see if they dare.
I wonder when we’ll see a true Wrath of God in MLP:CCG. Obviously it’d be in Pink, and you’d have to cost it pretty heavily–4/4, maybe? Same as True Evil? And for a name, I’m thinking something like “EVERYPONY PANIC!”
If you call Lady Justice broken you obviously don’t know how to play the game properly. Most people don’t consider her OP, at least people who know what they’re talking about. 4 AT is not something you usually are able to spend on a single card, and problem faceoffs are rarely even.. in fact, it’s mostly uncontested DFOs, due to Problem Solvers, so she’s most of the time just 3 power for 4 AT which is twice as expensive as you want it. She’s not used in a single competitive deck, unless you count the severely outdated Maud Games, which used her more for entry than her effect.
So Sheriff Silverstar plays a Chrysalis Mane deck and stole his opponent’s Lady Justice? Interesting.
4. It is rather common. A fixed card in starter decks. also, you can only have 3 of it in your deck
So how many hundreds of dollars does the card cost?
Hm.
I’m still trying to come to terms with the fact that there’s an official MLP card game.
It’s weird to me.
Quick summary here is that core to the CCG there are faceoffs at Problems, where you and your opponent put friends at, and their overall power affects who wins the problem. Lady Justice takes one power away from each opponent’s friend, which quickly gives you an edge. And this effect stacks for each Lady Justice in play, so if you were able to get 4 out, you basically win every Problem faceoff with no challenge. As such, most call Lady Justice a broken card (cheap to play for a massive effect)
