Nice. Looks like the artist put more effort in to the eyes here than most of the other details, but seeing as the eyes are the focal point of the picture, it makes sense.
As for Banshees getting used in games, I’ve found they took a massive blow with the nerf bat when power weapons got an AP value in close combat. They used to be one of the best ways of dealing with things like terminators and the like, but nowadays you can expect them to get flattened in short order by said opponents. And I believe they didn’t get much of a drop in points to field either, meaning they’re now overpriced cannon fodder.
(Which is also the reason why I never got any Shining Spears. Way too expensive when your opponents have things like Basilisks and Leman Russ tanks. Better with a Wave Serpent or Falcon Grav Tank full of Fire Dragons to deal with those).
@Evident Disaster
That may be, but there’s no animal muzzle or visible fur, so technically it isn’t, unless you count unusual-looking humanoid creatures with elf ears as anthro.
@Background Pony #E1D1
No it is anthro. The artist himself stated that he did this sort of like his previous anthro Applejack sketches, it’s on the DA page.
@Evident Disaster
Good point. But I think that Rarity would be more fitting as a Banshee because I can easily see her as a highly agile melee fighter. As for AJ here, I think she is a jack of all trades, so Dire Avengers is our best bet here.

Funny thing someone commented on the DA page saying she would suit Fire Dragons. To be honest I feel that she’d suit a Banshee because of her physical prowess. Dire Avenger I think I could see that happening, maybe Striking Scorpions.
But keep in mind all Eldar go through multiple paths so, she could chose another one in the future. Also Banshee’s get more screen time, or tabletop time for Eldar players… if you know what I mean. ‘wink wink’
Nice! But I don’t think the Howling Banshees are the right Aspect for Applejack, they seem more fitting for Rarity or Rainbow Dash. But I can see her being a Dire Avenger or a Dark Reaper.
So do we call her Howling Jack now? Apple Banshee doesn’t sound as nice.
Also considering AJ’s history of physical strength and being able to buck the heck out of anything unfortunate enough to get close to her, I’d imagine an Howling Banshee AJ would probably be sending ceramite shattering blows much in the same fashion.
Rune on her forehead says that she’s a Banshee Aspect Warrior.

But in all seriousness this is pretty good.
