Lets Go Home

After last weeks episode, I was a little disappointed that they didnt show a little seedling in the rubble of The Golden Oak Library. The gift the girls made for Twilight was absolutely perfect, but it still felt like something was missing- for me anyway. So! heres a glowing golden oak seedling. :)

Also, I know this scene wasnt at night, but I couldnt resist!

“Stump sprouts” can grow from the trunks of cut or fallen trees. In fact “coppicing” is the act of cutting down a sick or dying tree in the hopes that the root system has survived and will regenerate a new trunk. This is often done with trees with a historical significance or which are of a threatened species.

In short, by digging the oak where Golden Oak Library was located out by its roots, they made sure the tree could never grow a new trunk.

But, then again, magic.
