Yeah they could fit it in as if she’s in a good enough mood going to sleep, unlike lady pole (obscure reference), she uses her dreams to create a paradise of some sort to which often gets ruined by her held back stress and anxiety.(Ex. Diamond Tiara would form inside the dream as a wisp of dark green, hot pink(the colors often associated with envy.), dark blue(for depression)

I was kinda happy with the slight subversion of it, though, what with it happening again and again. Also, there were hints, like how did that pony know to go there? And her changing locations in a sudden and somewhat jarring way. Both very dream-esque things.

Dude, don’t be an ass. - _ - You know what was meant. There are things you can or can’t do without upsetting the flow. Making Bloom the head of a billion dollar enterprise is one of the 2nd.
On the other hand, if you have a convenient reason to undo something, then you can anything. You could make your characters the rulers of the multiverse, kill off main characters, even change the genre as long as you had a believable way for why it would be undone by the end.
(In fact, that’s kinda what they did with Bloom & Gloom and the
tirtried and tested “was all a dream” formula.)That ALSO seems very likely and realistic. xD

Hmm…interesting. I like it. I guess that makes sense, what with old-timey hucksters and snake oil salesmen like the Flim Flam Bros. and even Trixie’s travelling entertainer schtick still being popular despite the presence of early film.
Watsonian? Well, it’s possible that it’s a relatively new technology. Electricity requires a sizeable infrastructure. Equestria may still be setting that up, so the power grid is uneven and under-utilized. Same reason we’ve only seen telephones in Manehattan. Heck, Canterlot seems less electrified than Ponyville, which is effectively one of its suburbs.
And before anyone just says “magic”, yeah, I know that was the original idea for it, but then why would they have tesla coils at all? And also storing magic for batteries is terribly inefficient, one would think, since it’d have to be done manually.
And I meant in-universe. Watsonian, not Doylist.
Because it’s kind of an intrusion on the original technological aesthetic of the show? Not saying anachronisms are automatically bad, but they can mess up the tone.
