On subject of this image, It is strikingly similar. All Lyra’s missing is the black hoodie. At first I was wondering if it was made by the same person because it’s so close, even the colors are nearly the same if not identical.
 
Oh and the fanfic the older one is based on is about Lyra not being remembered by anyone. Everyone forgets her a few minutes later or hours at most and she can’t leave Ponyville but she does good despite all that. A lengthy fanfic and when I read it, a crushing sad one but I do recommend reading it regardless.

I actually drew inspiration from some of the lyrics to Inaudible Melodies by Jack Johnson when I made this image. But it’s incredibly interesting to see that another artist had a similar idea for the same character almost exactly 3 years ago. Thanks for pointing that out!
