And does it really matter that she became forgetful of who she was? Discord’s reign never began, Lyra never joined the Choir and she forgot what she did though the effects were permanent.

Something about this story has me interested. Lyra just gave all she had so Discord wouldn’t reign and she didn’t end up in the choir either. Sure she was forgetful in a way though but is that really the end of the fanfic?

@Vree: In this fic, Lyra is afflicted with a curse that makes everypony forget about her. Every time she meets somepony, it’s like the first time from their perspective, then they forget they ever met her.  
This fic is great, both in length (240,000 words and counting) and quality. It’s also a break from the usual human-obsessed Lyra.  
If you’re not afraid of text (the chapters are huge) and existential musings, go read it. Seriously.

I was thinking that it’d be probably be called something life “Life walks by”, but it is apparently fanart for a fanfic titled “Background pony”, about Lyra trying to find meaning in being a (street) musician.
