They’re probably too busy to rewatch it. They keep on saying that. Plus, they’re doing a show and a movie at the same time a lot of the time, so that’d be fairly plausible. :j
Well, if the Smooze works similarly to the G1 Smooze in the way that it makes others depressed upon contact, then maybe Pinkie Pie will become depressed later. The scene shown with the Smooze was extremely short to prove that he does not have those powers. But, probably this Smooze may work completely differently, as if it’s just a globule of goo with a smiley face and that’s it.

Also the fact that after an hour with a new party pony in town, she is willing to give up her entire way of life. Damn you, cheese sandwich.
@Blue Lightning
I find it very unbelievable that someone with chronic depression can do what they love every moment of every day, like Pinkie does. I have chronic depression and I can barely get out of bed, let alone do things I love. There is a difference between depression and chronic depression, and that difference is how it affects your day to day life.
She seems to suffer depression considering how she always tries to be happy and smiles all the time. We already seen her get horribly depressed once though she has been really doing well in controlling it.
given how often recent Pinkie goes off into rants about being mocked and/or hated by everyone around… yeah, it wouldn’t be hard to assume that a) she’s projecting her own fears and b) she has issues.
She knows smiles, and she knows those smiles aren’t right… because she has personal experience!

Then again, maybe the old Smooze was a fun loving guy too until some witches threw junk at it to wake it up, and cast magic ritual spells the witches most likely had very little understand about.
Nope, she just has too much to drain.
Either that or the new Smooze isn’t the same formula as the old.
DIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
You’re not alone. Beware, it can turn into aggression.

Is that what it says?
SPGS, apparently.
What?

Yes, but the picture clearly states “chronically depressed”, and that is what I disagreed with.
I know depression comes in many levels. Pinkie probably has it at a level lower than chronic.

Depression can be easy to mask over from others. Some can do it really well than others.

So that’s who I bumped into today.

Also, this.
