Yeah, sadly I’ve seen many good artists go down that road unfortunately. It’s not just “hate-art,” I lost respect for several of my favorite artists on DA, because of the way they behave. (Andrew Dickman to name one. I had a pretty bad experience with him.)
Actually, the manchild comment was for this guy specifically. I was mostly referring to the sizeable number of hate artists and self-proclaimed trolls who are way too old to be acting like that. Many are late-20s to mid/late-30s it seems, many are amazing artists, some even professionals, and yet STILL they use their talent to draw nothing but grotesque hate art/hater pandering shit. It’s every bit as cringy as Chris-Chan, Andrew Dobson or this guy. People just think if you have leet art skillz and pander like a madman, you get a free pass.
It doesn’t matter how “mature” your taste in cartoons/games/music/etc. is and how “normal” or “sane” you boast of being, if you squander your time and artistic talent to making complete strangers on the internet feel bad for liking what you do not, and pander to your immature fans under half your age, you are still a manchild.

Good lord. Hmm. I suppose I have run into a few of those before. Chris Chan is the most notable example. Biologically men, psychologically children.
Actually, a fair amount of them are in their 20s and 30s if you can believe that. Like the guy who drew this is I kid you not a 34-year-old man. Though he’s not a troll, he’s just a manchild.

The fact is the vast majority of wannabe internet bullies are children or nearly so, like 18 or 19. Once I realized that a few years ago, I stopped letting them trigger me. Kids can yell whatever incoherent, racist threats they want at me. As a man in his late 30s, it doesn’t affect me anymore. I have bigger concerns. At most I give them a pat on the head for trying, and move on with my day.
Yeah, that youtube comment thing is so true. The only reason I use this as my avatar is because someone made it for me, there aren’t nearly enough ponies with monocle, top hat and canes. The head turned out incredibly good.
But yeah, it’s also funny for someone who claims they don’t like the show even though they continue to watch it. I think the term is “Closet-brony”…but I prefer “hypocrite”.

And they are the ones bitching at us for “shoving ponies in their faces.”
Also, after my encounter with him and stumbling upon Enyclopedia Dramatica articles of other prominent antibronies after searching their dA names on a whim, I’m realizing brony-haters - and even so-called cyberbullies in general - aren’t at the top of the food chain like they claim they are. And thanks to a 35+ page thread on the ED forums I discovered months ago, even the biggest edgelords like Torture Device (AKA neo-nazi 40Ktard trollshielder who did nothing but rage about furries/MLP/other peoples’ fetishes/etc. being degenerate despite his gallery being 85%guro/torture/Cthulhu quasi-porn) aren’t immune to being LOL’d at.

Yeah. If there’s something I actually can learn from them, it’s to ignore people who don’t like what you like and not to start shit with and/or against them.
I’ve laughed at some of the rather crazy ones too, but I try not to start anything with them, and such.
While I don’t like them too, I find them worth laughing at occasionally.

Yeah, you do have a point. Plus the guy’s been doxxed plenty so the info is all right there, and I wouldn’t feel guilty for doing something I hate to someone who is admittedly kinda asking for it.

But if he has autism then you don’t treat it like you do a mental illness, that will do nothing but cause more problems.
